CHILDHOOD CANCER AWARENESS MONTH

Triple your impact for kids with cancer!
Donate today and your donation will be matched.

Donations tripled – our biggest match yet!

As September marks Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, we are reminded of the courage and resilience of the children and families who battle this disease every day. This month is an opportunity for us all to take a stand and make a difference.

Today, your support can go even further. For the first time ever, we have secured an incredible triple match. That means every donation you make will be tripled, up to £5,000.

This is the biggest match funding opportunity we’ve ever had, and it’s only available this month. Together, we can make three times the difference in helping children receive the care and support they urgently need.

*Donations will be matched up to a total value of £5,000

Shahriar's Story

In July, Shahriar’s parents grew worried when their son developed a prolonged fever and severe joint pain. They visited several hospitals in search of answers, before eventually being referred to Bangladesh Shishu Hospital & Institute (BSH&I) in Dhaka. It was there that they finally received a diagnosis: Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia (ALL).

Alongside the shock of the diagnosis, Shahriar’s father had to give up his job to care for him, all while supporting elderly parents at home.

The family considered stopping treatment and returning home, a heartbreaking but common reality when the financial burden feels impossible. Instead, they reached out to relatives for support, determined to give their son the chance to survive.

Thanks to supporters like you, World Child Cancer was there for Shahriar and his family. Through our programme at BSH&I, he received free medicines and counselling to help them cope.

Shahriar is still under observation, but his family can now focus on his care with renewed hope. With your support, more children like Shahriar can access essential medicines, emotional support, and the chance to live a life beyond cancer.

Your donation could help keep children like Shahriar in treatment and give families the hope they need. Donate today and triple your impact!
